YYreZidency - Swintak
Toronto-based interdisciplinary artist Swintak is doing a summer-long residency at the gallery I work at, YYZ Artists' Outlet. It's only been open for a week, but I'm really eager to see how the space changes over the next little while and for the exhibition that will follow her residency. It's been interesting to see how people interact with the space... a couple of people have asked her questions about what she plans to work on, but most are apprehensive about even entering the space. I hope that as she continues to work, audiences will become more engaged with the space and return to watch the work progress.
