If you like printmaking... 100 Prints

Which reminds me...

Open Studio, a printmaking studio and gallery in Toronto (in the same building that I work in) hosts an annual fundraiser, 100 Prints, and this year it'll be held at the Palais Royale in Toronto. I went to this fundraiser once when I was younger -- my aunt and uncle had an extra ticket. When you buy a ticket, you get a print!

Tickets are $325 and you can bring a guest. It's a pretty affordable way to get your hands on a great piece of original, contemporary art! The event is on May 13th.

Libby Hague / Printmaking

I love this woodcut by Libby Hague that I saw in an Akimbo email broadcast this morning. It's part of an exhibition in Toronto that starts today. I think I'll be posting lots of printmaking images today!
